Ghosts inhabit the Moon River Brewery in Haunted Savannah, Georgia. Savannah has a scary history of war, fire, and of course, DEATH. Hear the story on our side, haunted or not?

The Ghost Trail has visited a few sites including ghosts. But we will NEVER forget Moon River Brewery in Savannah, Georgia. The History and reported manisfestations are below. But after that, we have the Ghost Trail's opinion on hauntings.

The Moon River Brewery was built in 1821. It was originally a hotel during the war. There were actually slaves hidden in the attic and the basement. They you used to sleep on hay for comfort and would feed off of it, too. There was a fire in the hotel, caused by the hay in the basement and attic. Since the slaves weren't cared after, they were still in the building when they had the fire. They don't know for sure how many slaves there were in the attic, so they aren't for certain how many haunt the place.

Actually, the Moon River Brewery also used to be a post office, a bank, and hotel, and a bar. Once, two men got in a fight in the hotel, and a man shot the other man while he was walking up the stairs. Now, he is seen walking up and down the stairs.

There is a man named Toby who lives in the basement, along with shadows. He is accused of pushing people down in the basement.

Also, there is a woman in white who lives in the 3rd floor. While they were renivating, the wife was taking the workers their lunches, when she was pushed backwards by a spirit. She ended up in the hospital. The spirit does not like it when people come up the stairs...

THE GHOST TRAIL'S EXPERIENCE

The basement at daytime has no feel to it. It is just an empty basement, but the ghostly resident says no. Toby inhabits the basement as reported, and when you walk up to the pool table, you get a creepy feeling. Upstairs, the second floor has an instant queezy feeling as you walk up the old stairs. The third floor is blocked off possibly of the lady in white, pushing people off the stairs. We caught a ghost on camera, below. Haunted? We say YES.

CONCLUSION

If you ever go to The Moon River Brewery, you might get touched while you are sitting at the bar, see flying bottles, and hear children playing upstairs. If you see a shadow, run. If you walk up stairs, hold on tight...they are out to get you!
