If you feel this is getting REALLY out of hand, call a local ghost hunter for a real investigation. This is our opinion. All of these will 99% show results. If you don't trust our very accurate suggustions, try to come up with any other "BRILLIANT" ideas. But if you feel it is a bad entity, act as if it doesn't harm you, but if you can't possibly do that, call a ghost hunter. Ash cave A lady dressed in 1920s attire has been seen peeking around trees and following groups, then disappears into the night.Haunted Ohio's Ash Cave. . .Ash Cave is well known for its beautiful cascading waterfall, winding trail and spacious recess cave. In fact, it is one of Hocking Hills State Park's most visited areas. But most who hike the hemlock-lined trail are so mesmerized by the scenery, they do not know that perhaps the goosebumps rising along the back of their neck may not just be the reaction to the awesome surroundings. Maybe, just maybe it might be something more. Perhaps it is just an innate warning, some sixth sense telling them they are being watched. . . A recent hiking expedition in the evening hours left a group rather unnerved. According to witnesses, a shadowy apparition followed the entire group along the trail. The shadow that appeared to look like a woman dressed in 1920's attire peered around the trunk of a tree close enough to give two hikers a good start! When one witness brought it to the attention of the rest of the group, the apparition disappeared. There have also been eyewitnesses to attest they see a tiny shadowy hand creeping out from the first bridge while they crossed.So who is this lady ghost who haunts the trail? It seems to be a mystery. There have been deaths from falls in the area, but none fit the description of our secretive spirit. Right now, her identity remains a secret only she knows.
.JPG) LaLaurie Mansion New Orleans, Louisiana #1 Haunted House In 1832, Louis and Delphine LaLaurie moved into their mansion in the French Quarter. Madame LaLaurie was known for her great style. Her daughters were actually titled as some of the best dressed girls in New Orleans. Madame LaLaurie was loved dearly. People admired her so much, she would never leave the topic. She was so nice and treated all her guests so nice. But what some people said about her wasn't so great. Rumors of Madame LaLaurie being crazy and mean might not be just rumors. What was being passed around was the cold, hard truth. Madame LaLaurie was much too cruel to her slaves. The slaves were thought of property, but a waste of money. It seemed as if there were different slaves quite often, replacing slaves that dissappeared. Madame LaLaurie chained her cook to the fireplace where she would work all day and allnight. A neighbor heard a shrill cry and scream, followed by Madame chasing a little girl, forcing her to jump to hear death from the roof. She was later buried in the yard. AFter this happened, most invitations were denied to their elite parties. The cook couldn't take any more of the torture sessions, so she started a fire that spread all around the house. The LaLauries evacuated the town do to the probabilitis of something realy scary being revealed in the attic. Hundreds of bare bodies chained to the walls, laying on the tables, and stuck in animal cages. Human body parts were in buckets, tied aroung waists, and scattered all over the walls and floors. Belongings of slaves and whips were spread out on the shelves. Fingernails were ripped off, and mouths were sewn shut. The worst was having a stick being drilled into their heads for "stirring the brains". The house was left vacant, and then it started to decompose. There were screams and cries, and visions of many slaves walking in windows and in the yard. The house was bought once again in 1837 by a man who evacuated it after only 3 months due to creepy noises and visions. The abandoned mansion turned into a girls only highschool. The school was eventually turned into a dance and music school for girls until it was closed quite suddenly. Jules Vignie secretly lived in the mansion in the late 1880's to 1892, the year he was found upstairs, dead, exposing all his expensive antiques and treasures. In the late 1890's, the mansion became an apartment house fo many Italian immigrants. A nude slave attacked a man, children were whipped by a "phantom", and strange figures were seen all aound the house. Now it serves as expensive apartments. When people were remodeling he place, they revealed dozens of bosies in the walls and floorboards. It was suspected as Madame LaLaurie's hidden graveyard. I never knew of this place, but it has been voted number 1 haunted house. It is a very gruesome and tragice story. It truly is sadfor what happened to these slaves. Never have I heard of such a cruel lady, but clever to hide away. I will never believe in this, as this is truly the most disturbing history of a haunted house as I have ever heard. Whaley House #2 Haunted House San Diego, California The Whaley House was built in1857 by Thomas Whaley . Before he built the house, the land was a partial cemetary. In the haunted house, there is a strong smell of cigar smoke and perfume. The shutters are seen openning and closing after the house closes for tourists. A spirit of a girl who played with the children was accidently hung by running into a clothesline. A burglar, Yankee Jim Robinson, is heard on the stairs, particularly on the 9th step, where he got clubbed. Sometimes he is even spotted during tours. The Whaley's red haired daughter has powerful energy that makes people mistaken her as a real child. She tickles and pulls hair. The way she died is that she ate a mysterious poisonous powder. Violet Whaley shot herself, nto findin g the gun by investigators. The gun was later found enplastered in the wall, thinking that her older sister, Corine had something to do with the killing of Violet Whaley. Mrs. WHaley sometimes whispers requests of songs into the people's ears who are playing the piano. There are reflections of ghosts in the windows and on glass bookshelves. Some of the ghosts are a Russian spirit. Another one of them is an Indian man. There is also an apparation of a dog chasing a cat through out the garden. And there is a dressy spirit staring down from the window. A young boy plays in the master bedroom, and a ghost is seen sitting up against a tree in the garden. The last thing is that you feel like some one is choking you every nce and a while.
This wasn't what I was expecting when we did our investigation. It wasn't at all as scary as the LaLaurie House was, I was actually kind of dissapointed, but I guess the hauntings are more intense than they really are. Winchester Mystery House #3 Haunted House San Hose, California This Wichester Mansion was a great build. One hund red sixty rooms, 3 elevators, 47 fireplaces, and much much more.Whispering voices, tapping footsteps, ghostly music, twisting doorknobs, and moving cold spots are all encounters in the Winchester House. Many orbs have been reported, and reflections and shadows have also been reported. Many have been proved in pictures while touring the haunted mansion. One reason why it is called the Wichester Mystery House is that there are very odd buildings into the house. Doors to 50 feet drops, stairs to nowhere, windows on the floor, and half finished rooms. Why was it built like this? Mrs. Winchester became obsessed with working witrh the paranormal after her young daughter died. To please the spirits in the house, she would build the house however they would want. She didn't want the ghosts to be mad or frightened. Some say that it ws built by ghosts, which isn't so much of a lie. If she stopped working on the huse, the curse of the Winchester gun would kill her, after killing her daughter and husband, she stayed on task and did what she could to make the spirits happy. She brought the ghosts to her with a bell tower that ws eventually built onto the house. She would allow them to leave when she rang the bell a second time. That's all for now...
The Stranahan House #4 Haunted House Fort Lauderdale, Florida The first floor of the house was built somewhere in the 1890's. The rest of the house ws built between 1902 and 1915. The house is parculiarly different, having most parts of the house made more modern, while the kitchen is still a kitchen from the 20th century. Frank Stranahan started off his career by creating a ferry business across the lake from one place to another place, tsking almost half the time to get there. Framk was akind man, every one enjoyed being around and with him. He let people wait for the ferry in his house, becuase sun or no sun, they would have to go out and wait. Ivy Stranahan, at a very young age of 18, fell in love with Frank. They marrried, making a deal tonot have children and for Frank to shave his beard. Ivy made a success by teaching for quite some time. In 1929, a hurricane hit, Frank lost much of his livings and payments fter marketing had crashed, and Frank recieved the news of being involved with terminal canacer. He went into depression finding out he had 6 months to live. Things got bazaar then when he tried committing suicide in the hospital, and was then sent to a amental institution. After begging the dotors, Ivy had Frank sent home to die with family. Frank ruined the planned date to express hids death by succeeding in suicide at the river. After Frank's death, Ivy rented the rooms to make extra cash, and then carried it onto a restaurant. In 1971, Ivy died in her sleep. In 1979, the Winchester Mystery House was sold. A young girl died in the doorway, and she haunts the place today. zivy's sister died after giving birth to her 4th dead child because of heavy bleeding. She still stayed around to chill the spines of humans. She would like to arrest her husband for cheating on her when she was 7 months pregnant. An inappropriate ghost named Albbert likes to play with you, and he ided in his office. Ivy's father als died here. Frank-He will try to host tours of the house, and he will sho himself to workers. He will kniock on the outside of the house and chase people off property. Some people have seen Frank jump into the river over adnd over and ocer, like he killed himself seeral times. Ivy- She touches people while going up the attic stairs. People have felt her hand on their backs to help them up the stairs. SHhe worried that they would fall down the stairs. The scent of her perfume lingers through the air. Ivy's Dad-He throws books across the room and on the floor. He scares employees in the gift shop when thy change things around. He liked it the way it was organuzed. Albert-He likes to tease and knock things over. He likes to slam doors and move things around. He makes the room temperature chilly for men, giving them san uneasy feeling, but he warms up the room for women, giving them awelcoming feeling. If he dislikes you, you will hear him say "Get out!" Ivy's sister-She is seen holding new born babies, and there are two orbs that float around, resembling her and her baby. She likes to tell people who work with the police what her hsuband did to her. Little girl-She takes candy out of the czandy jar and puts it in piles on the attic floor. SHe is heard singing and she answers any question a investigator would ask. M
Governor's Mansion Carson City, Nevada A woman, man, and child haunt the house. Many think they are the spirits of the governor, the "first lady" and their child. On the second floor, a woman with an elegant white dress is seen. They say it could be the "first lady" preparing for a ball. A little girl wanders carelessly around rooms, not minding any one else's business. Footsteps are heard walking in every square inch of the mansion. Doors open and close and cold breezes are felt. Unexplained coldspots appear on the old grandfather clock that always seem to hold the most paranormal activity.

The lightning bursts. The thunder snarls. A scream rings down the eerie halls. The aged doors screech on their fragile hinges. A shadow owned by someone lifeless grows. The basement shakes with an evil sensation. Sunrise comes, And the house waits for the next stormy night. |
Thayer Home The thayer home is amore active place, with every day paranormal activity. Read ahead if you would like to find some facts about the afterlife. Sheets that are lain down by maids neatly are town off by an unseen presense. Doors slam shut, and there is also unexplainable knocking on doors. Apparations have shown themself to their human guestas and an angry, violent man shows himself from windows. Ghosts go through guests' personal items. There are also shadows and chills through out the house. Congelier House #6 Haunted House Pittsburg, Pennsylvania The original most haunted house in America is the Congelier mansion, and the horror began in 1871. Charles Wright Congelier lived there with his mexican wife Lyda, and a servant girl named Essie. Lyda discovered Charles had an affair with the maid, which she was so enraged, she stabbed Charles and cut off Essie's head. For the next 20 years, the house stood empty. It was remodeled to accommodate railroad workers in 1892, but they soon moved out, claiming to hear the sobbing and screaming of a woman. The Most Haunted House in America once again stood vacant. Around 1900, Dr. Adolph Brunrichter bought the home. "Keeping to himself, the doctor was rarely seen by his neighbors. Then on August 12, 1901, the family next door heard a terrifying scream from the Brunrichter residence," wrote Nancy Osborn and Richard Winer in the book, Haunted Houses. "When they ran outside to investigate, the neighbors saw a red explosion-like flash shooting through the house. The earth under them trembled, and the sidewalls cracked. Every window in the doctor's home was shattered." When officials entered the house to see what the heck happened, they found a decomposed female body strapped to the bed and five young, headless women in basement graves. "Dr. Brunrichter had been experimenting with severed heads," wrote Winer and Osborn. "Apparently he had been able to keep some alive for short periods after decapitation." Dr. Brunrichter, meanwhile, had disappeared, and the house once again stood vacant.
THE KOLKATA POLTERGIEST The poltergiest activity took place in India. It happened in the house of a man named Ratan Das, just when his daughter, Rima, was about to take an important test at her school. From December 14 to December 27, 2008, the petrifying poltergiest made havoc happen in the house. Objects were moved or hidden. So were Rima's school books. They were moved around. The White House #5 Haunted House Washington D.C. Now we are going to go to the White House! You all may have heard of the hauntings of the White House. You may have heard about the ghost of Abraham Lincoln, but he's not the only person who haunts the place. Willie Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, Abbigail Adams, Dolley Madison, and David Burn also haunt the White House. Each person has a history of haunting the place. Willie Lincoln showed himself during Grant's Administartion. In the hallways, you can hear and see Andrew Jackson swearing and stomping his boots. You can also experience the presence of Andrew Jackson in the Rose Roo, where he used to use as a bedroom. John Adam's wife, Abbigail Adams, is seen running through the halls with tremendous loads of laundry. Dolly Madison used to spend a great amount of time in the garden. When they took the garden out, she would show herself to workers and joke around with them. They finally gave in to her silly tricks and put the garden back where it was. David Burns. He likes to talk to people with out saying himself to him. One time he was talking to the president from the hall, stating that it was him, David Burns, but when the president finished the conversation, he went out to see no body at all. Did Abraham Lincoln know that he was going to be assassined? Lincoln had a strange dream the morning before the night of when he was killed. Abraham explained the dream very well. "In the dream, I was awakened by a strange moaning coming from somewhere near by. I stood, and began hunting for the noise, finally finding my way to the East room, where men and women were shrouded in funeral shawls. I saw a coffin on a dais, and soldiers at either end. A captain stood nearby, and I addressed him, 'Who is dead in the white house,' says I. 'The president,' was his answer, 'He was killed by an assasin.' In the coffin was a corpse in a funeral vestments, but the face was obscured. A loudsob left the crowd, and I awoke." People have seen him standing in front of the window, staring at battlefields across the yard with his hands behind his back. People lso hear him knocking on poeple's doors and windows. Eleanor Roosevelt once used Lincoln's bedroom as her study. She always felt someone watching her. The housekeeper once saw him sit on the bed and take of his shoes. Someone opened the door to the bedroom to much of her surprise, Lincoln was looking right at her, causing her to faint. One time Churchill walked into the room after taking a shower, he was still naked and cold. When he walked in he saw Lincoln tending a fire. He told the president, "Good evening, Mr. President. You seem to have me at a disadvantage." A dog wouldn't step foot into the room where Lincoln's bedroom was, perhaps he sensed somehing strange and erie.Abraham Lincoln's ghost can also see the future. 
Execution Rocks Lighthouse in New YorkThe name of this island gives most of the history away. In colonial times, this lighthouse didn’t exist. In colonial times, British soldiers came to the island, and chained colonists into the American Revolution up to the rocks at low tide. The whole island is basically of rock anyhow. They would be chained up and left there for high tide. As the water level rose, the chained up colonists would be left to drown. The skeletons were also left there, showing no respect to the suffered colonists. Execution rock has already seen dark history. But yet, more has to happen. The ghosts are said to have gotten back at the red coats (British soldiers). When George Washington crossed the waters, a boat of British soldiers followed him down the waters. The British soldiers crashed into the rocks on the island. It is said the ghosts of the colonists were getting back at the red coats. Be back for more...
Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop New Orleans, Louisiana Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop is an old pub that was built more than 250 years ago. The pub has haunted prize possesions of the Lafittes. The Lafitte's were smugglers - people who smuggle stuff that's not theirs. So Jean Lafitte, specificly haunts the fireplace in the pub. The fireplace was suspected to hide their secret stash of gold. Jean haunts the first floor, protecting his stash of gold. Also, a man and woman haunt this building, and for some reason they are very well known there. The fireplace has very unexplained cold spots and red eyes have been spotted actually in the fireplace. And it seems that most of the activity takes place by the fireplace, because in the closest tables to the chimney, a ghost touches you on the shoulder. The smell of smoke is supposed to cue Jean Latiffe's ghost. Jean also likes to hide in dark corners. His spirit fades quickly once spotted. Jean likes to check out women in the bathroom, because he really really liked women in his life. The last ghost is a female seen in the upstairs mirror. Whitnesses say that it's is either evil voodoo queen Marie Laveau, or Madame LaLaurie, who we already covered on More Ghost Investigations under LaLaurie house. New Orleans is the most haunted city in America, so if your curiosity ever carries you there, make sure to find Lafitte's Pub to sneak away and try to find red eyes in the chimney or in corners. Bank Street House New York City, New York When the woners bought this house, they could immediately feel the afterlife playing tricks on them. There were footsteps heard through out the house, particularly up and down the stairway. Sinse they spent the first moments reconstructing the house, there were light hammering noises heard. One time when they were repairing the house, a container filled with a woman's ashes fell out of the ceiling! They soon found out that the ashes belonged to a girl who gothhit by a car right outside the home. But it didn't make sense that they were hidden here.
The Glessner House Chicago,Illinois The Glessner House was built in 1887. The Glessners lived in Victorian house for about 50 years. Richardson died a very short time after creating blue prints for the house, so he never got to see the house, but as ghost he calls the Victorian house his home. People feel a cold rush through their bodies as walking through the house. There's also a white figure seen on the stairway. Moving cold spots around the house. There are also loud voices throuigout the house. Richardson's ghost is cearly seen through out the house.
Vendome Hotel Prescott, Arizona The Vendome Hotel was built in 1917. As you've heard, many things could happen in a haunted house. Abby and Mr. Byr bought this house. One night he was sent out by his wife to get medication, but he never came back. Abby was so depressed because she had a bad feeling he just deserted her. SO she sat in her room and locked her cat in the closet. She starved herself and her cat to death. SInce this death occured, visions of Abby and her cat are seen in room 16, the room they lived in. Closet hangers can be heard moving around behind the closed doors. Objects move by themselves. Cat toys can be heard anywhere though particularly in the closet. You can smell the strong odor of a woman's perfume, soft breezes, and there has also been cases where the victim is touched in various places by an unseen presense. When guests are sleeping, the spirit of Abby talks to them. Footsteps are heard walking down the hall and stairs, and when maids are cleaning, their tv's will turn off anf on depending on the channel. It turns out the spirit of Abby does not approve of MTV. Orbs are also seen in the dark. So did you picture this hotel in your mind. Could you see a woman speaking to you in your sleep, could you hear cat toys scratch against the walls, could you feel a woman touch you? If you did, you're definitely in for a scare. Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio City, Ohio The family grave is in Ohio City's Woodlawn cemetery. Farmer Phillip K. tired of his wife Jane, as husbands sometimes do, and he decided to do away with her. He threw a rope over the beam of the barn, and called urgently for his wife to come out. Jane was sewing in the house when she heard his call. Tucking her scissors into her apron pocket, she went out to the barn. Phillip took his wife by suprise as he threw a noose over her head and hauled on the other end of the rope. Bt as he pulled, she seized her scissors and stabbed her husband through the heart. When the neighbors found them, they were both dead; Jane's neck unnaturally elongated and Phillip sprawled in a pool of blood seething blackly with fies. The monument that stands above their grave cost $9,500 in the early 1900s. The life-size statues that stand on the couples grave show Phillip with his rope and Jane with her scissors. It is said that if you feel Janes hand, it will be warm. Touch Phillip's hand next, you will feel the same warmth. But if you touch hers for a second time then touch his-his hand will be hot. Sometimes truth is less exciting than fiction. Certainly the couple stare dourly at each other over the sepulchre that separates them, but jane carries sheep-shearing scissors; Phillip, stalks of wheat. To the casual observer the stalks of wheat could resemble the rope and shearers, murderous scissors. The dates are also a dead giveaway: Phillip died in 1908; Jane, in 1920  Myrtles Plantation Louisiana A black woman was named Chloe. She was so furious at the owners, she poisoned 3 people and was later hung for her crime. A future owner of the plantation was once awakened by the presence of Chloe's ghost. At first she was frightened, but then started to enjoy Chloe's company. Also two blonde girls are seen in the windows and playing around the plantation. WIlliam Winter's ghost is seen walking up and down the grand staircase. A voodoo priestess chants throughout the plantation. A little ghost kid ikes to jump on the beds . A maid has a hissy fit when things are dirty throughout the plantation. She cleans the rooms every day. A confederate soldier is seen walking the front porch. A man warns visitors about how bad the plantation and claims it is evil. A ballet dancer in a black tutu dances across the halls. A naked indian woman sits in the gazebo in the backyard.
