The Ghost Trail

WELCOME TO FOREIGN HAUNTS

Remember when we said "We visit the United States only"? We spoke of not the truth-we were getting you ready for this suprise! You still get the same chills except with a twist. The probability of some type of castle being on here is VERY high. Some say more bloody things happen in the UK. The cold of Canada may freeze people to death-but the soul DOESN'T die. You will encounter this and more in FOREIGN HAUNTS.

 THE TOWER OF LONDON

One of the spookiest and perhaps, the most haunted building in London is the grim and gray Tower of London. This old building has emmbeded itself in the pages of history. The tower was built in 1078 by William the Conquerer. One of the haunted towers is Wakefield tower. The spirit of wakefield Tower is henry VI who's life ended sadly; HE WAS MURDERED! The murder happened "in the hour before midnight" on May 21st, 1471 as he knelt at prayer. Tradition states the knife in which he was "stikk'd full of deadly holes" was wielded by the Duke of Gloucester (Later the infamous Richard lll). On the anniversary of his murder, Henry's mournful wraith is said to appear as the clock ticks toward midnight, and pace fitfully inside Wakefield Tower until, on the last stroke of midnight, he fades slowly into the stone of the tower and rests peacfully for another year.

The massive White Tower is the oldest and most forbidding of all The Tower of Londons buildings and winding stone corridors. Another scary thing is the "White Lady" who once waved at children the building opposite. It may be her "cheap perfume" that haunts the air around the entrance to St John's Chapel. The smell of the ghostly perfume often makes guards throw up. In the gallery where Henry Vlll's impressive suit of armour is exibited, many guards talk of a strange crushing sensation that suddenly comes upon them . But when they leave, the sensation lifts. One guard patroling through a stormy night felt as if someone had put a heavy cloak over him. As he stuggled to get free, the cloak was seized from behind and pulled tight around his throat by the phantom attacker. Managing to break free from it's sinister grasp, he rushed to the guardroom where the marks on his neck clearly had shown someone or SOMETHING attacked him theat night.

COME BACK SOON FOR ANOTHER TOWER!

 Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a nice fair, but the question is, why do ghosts haunt there? Ghosts are not considred (most of the time) a "pleasure". But, in any way, this place is haunted. Ride the Ghost Train (ride),and it might not just be the special effects scaring you. "Cloggy" haunts The Ghost Train. His footsteps are heard throughout the building, even if the alive Cloggy has already died. A possible female spirit haunts the Arena. Specteres are in the Star Pub. Staff see dark shadows and a male apparition in the cellar. Staff claim it's Karl Marx. At Sir Hiram Maxwell's Giftshop, a nine year old girl ghost has been sighted. She moves objects around when the fair closes. The evedence is that the objects are in a different place before closing.
