The Ghost Trail

EVEN MORE GHOST INVESTIGATIONS

The Stanley Hotel

Estes Park, Colorado

The Stanley Hotel is one of my favorite ghost investigations. The place in my eyes is already undoubtedly haunted. It has reported many infestations, entities, and manifestations. This very same place inspired the creation of the very popular, yet frightening movie "The Shining". Haunted? You make the vote..

Mrs. Smith, the woman who turned the gas on and off each day was killed in an explosion when she left the gas burning all day and night. Mrs. Smith is seen walking through walls and is reported to tidy up guests' rooms. Flo Stanly is seen looking out the window, standing on the staircase. Early in the morning she likes to play the piano to annoy guests. Freelan Stanley is seen in the lobby. He enjoys watching employees do their jobs and guests enjoying their visits. Lord Dunraven, a "back-in-the-day" pervert likes to steal fine jewelry, lock women in closets, and touch females. Other manifesttions occurring in the Stanley Hotel...Dead amployees come bak and work as if they never died. Other dead people who were harmful to guests of the Stanley Hotel come back and try to finish what they started. The sound of running and playing children are heard. Whispering children are heard aswell. One boy likes to flicker the lights and turn the volume of the T.V. up very high to signal the guest that he wants to play.

So did this convince you that The Stanley Hotel is haunted? It convinced me... And take a look at "The Shining"...you'll find the movie quite haunting, scary, and disturbing.

Letchworth Village

Haverstraw, New York

The history behind this hated, horrible place very much explains the manifestations here. Take a look and see. Letchworth was an asylem, meant for the mentally ill and disabled. The children there were taken from their families, were abused, beaten, and killed. The workers only fed the children gruel, who would gag, choke, and die on it for it didn't seem too edible. The workers performed dental fixtures by themselves on the children, which caused so many infections and deaths, it's unbelievable. Also, patients were naked and cold and infested with germs and bacteria because the caretakers couldn't afford medicineor clothing to protect them from things like this. If a child were to steal something, or hit someone, their fingers were chopped off. Once these children died, they were stacked in an unsanitary mourgue. Today, there is still blood and decayed skin reamaining in the mourgue. Afterwards, hundreds of patients were buried under unmarked graves.

In Letchworth Village, you can clearly hear children giigling, footsteps, and unfortunately- screams of pain, sorrow, and death. Dragging desks have been seen and heard. With no electricity running i half of the village, Christmas decorations would mysteriously turn on. Baby accessories were played with and Halloween costumes were found during an investigation. Orbs have been caught in pictures and on video, aand many people become easily possessed in this location. Great surges of anger and sorrow take over their bodies and completely control them.

In my eyes it's haunted all the way. But in other people's point of view, they think it is a terribly misjudged place that was fun and very nice to their patients. I think they're wrong.

REMINGTON ARMS FACTORY, BRIDGEPORT, CONNECTICUT

Built in 1867, Bridgeport, Connecticut. When it closed down in 1986 it then a home for homeless. It's full of dark energy, murdered people... so cursed. You will figure out why. They made ammunition, and rifles (10,000 a day), things that give death. On March 29, 1942, 7 deaths 80 people injured explosion. Spies worked for FBI, possibly sabotaging the machinery caused the explosion. Smelting pots that two men fell in died. They say you don’t know you’re dead if you fall into one. There were labor riots in 1914 when 100 Portuguese workers riding claimed abuse by guards, pushed them around, and workers grabbed one guard and attempted to throw him into a ditch, others guards saw, and went to help. One guy got clubbed in the head, They kept clubbing him until the guy died.  The spirits don’t want people in there. There are many scary shadows, and voices. The graveyard across the street had a Hungarian woman buried alive. There are voices in the shock tower. The underground tunnels were fire ranges, and stored bombs. Disembodied screams ring through the old, and haunted halls.

TOYS "R" US, SUNNYVALE, CALIFIFORNIA

I know. Toys "R" Us? REALLY?! Maybe you should here about THIS Toys "R" Us. The Toys "R" Us in Sunnyvale, California is built over a ranch and apple orchard that was used in the early nineteenth century. Why do the ghosts live there? People say that it is connected with the owner before, he hated children, and the commercial development of his old home. Every morning when employees came in they found stock scattered all across the floor, and items placed on the wrong shelves. Employees got really scared when a voice called their name, or if they were touched by an invisible force. Soon they smelled fresh flowers, and female employees were violently attacked in the ladies restroom. Once, Antoinette May and Sylvia Brown  camped out inside Toys "R" Us. They sensed the presence of a man, and also took photos, which a man showed up in.
